Project overview
Extensive and detailed refurbishment of a period Grade II-listed townhouse in Mayfair, W1 comprising overhaul of existing heating and electrics and bespoke joinery to all floors. The project was beautifully finished with specialist finishes including oak parquet flooring throughout, and the refurbishment of listed features included cornice enrichment and existing marble fireplaces.
We were also very proactive in the pre-contract stages of the project, assisting the design team by liaising with specialist listed restoration contractors to ensure a smooth listed building approval, then meticulously overseeing these restorations during the contract phase to ensure the listed building consent and conditions were met.
We now oversee this house in terms of its ongoing maintenance requirements to maintain the level of finish on practical completion and address our clients’ routine and reactive maintenance needs.
